About Archie

Archie was born and raised in Central Africa and spent his formative years eating ants and termites, scurrying about at night time in fear of predators and being generally dull. With his short legs, large ears and pig-like snout (Aardvark is Afrikaans' for Earth Pig), he was never much in social company...

Then he discovered the Internet! Having successfully creating loads of web sites (which is quite dificult with paws!), he decided to set up AardvarkArchie.com in response to a growing need for human beings to laugh at each other.

After only worrying about where the next meal was coming from for years, the choice of humorous content to add to his sites was confusing to say the least. So, he worked hard, scurrying around at night on the Internet and in slightly dodgy drinking holes to find the best humor and jokes about.

Time passed and he realized that he had gathered so many good quality jokes and funny pictures together, that they were worth sharing. It was time to let the world know about his new nocturnal activities and so, in a puff of smoke, AardvarkArchie.com was born.
